How did you get the no-CD patch from gamefix to work? I tried to apply but it keeps reporting a "Filesize Incorrect" error message.

Are there no-CD patches for this game anywhere else? MegaGames doesn't have one explicitly listed (they call it "backup CD"), and it's unavailable for download right now anway.

Any help provided will be much appreciated.

I found it. Game fix has ones that say they are German. They work in any language!!! Try it!

i have tried them all except the german 1, i have just downloaded it and patched the game, it still doesnt work so i am going to switch off my computer and try again incase u have to, i will post again to tell u if it worked

nope thats it i have tried them all and none of them work, I NEED HELP, I NEED A WORKING NO-CD FOR THE STANDALONE VERSION of Ages of Empires2 The Conquerors, please someone help, i have installed the game a hundred times incase the patches i have tried interfered with each other.
