Pro Rally 2001

I know this is a copy forum, but I'm having trouble running Pro Rally 2001. It crashes to the desktop when pressing a button on the gamepad. The only tech support I found was in German. Could someone please translate this: Um das Spiel mit einen Joystick oder einem Lenkrad spielen zu können, ohne dass es abstürzt, sobald man auf der Strecke beschleunigt, befolgen Sie bitte diese Schritte:

Thanks anyway. The site is a Flash 5 site www.ubisoft.de and it won't scroll down. It looks like there's something there but you can't read it.
