How to copy the content of a cd to u'r hard disk?

Hello. I have a simple question. I have the original of Red Alert 2, and I want to make a copy. I found the instructions on gamecopyworld, but I don't know how to copy the full content of the cd to the hard drive!! I guess u can't use windows commander or explorer? Aren't u supposed to use Nero or something?
I hope someone can help me.

usually drag and drop in a directory of your choice should work

explore the cd.........select all..........copy........paste!!!!
