THPS2, NOLF, Others? Win2k NO-CD doesnt work

Recently bought THPS2 and NOLF and copied the CDs and tried to run the game w/o the CD. Unfortunatly, each time I get a NO-CD crack, they seem not to work under windows 2k - I get an error that says this is not a valid win32 app -- any ideas?
