I did buy diablo 2

but i wanted to copy it so i didnt have to use cd.
well now i cant get on battle net how can i go back
to original setting so i can get on again. even when i put the original store bought cd in it battle net doesn't recognize it help please. I dont want to have to delete the game and lose my characters and reinstall.
help please

open up the diablo 2 directory and copy the save game folder to a floppy or a temp file. Then I would recommend reinstalling the game over the top of the other one with your original CD. You shouldn't loose your saved games but you never know and this way you will have a back-up of them. It might be a good idea to to a full complete install. If this doesn't work you can know safely uninstall the program, reinstall and copy the saved games folder back into the program!!!
