I have a NEO2.5 installed in a US 30001R and can't play DVD movies. The browser just sits on "reading disc" forever. I can play cd, cd-r, and original dvd games... just no movies. Could the DVD lens pot be slightly out of adjustment? I've taken a look at the two adjustment pots, but I don't know which one's which and I don't want to start turning things. Anyone familiar with this ver board who can tell me which pot to try? One pot has a resistor right next to it and the other doesn't... that's the easiest way I can tell the two apart. I don't have an oscilliscope, but I'm familiar with tuning caps, etc from my pager repair days so I'm not worried about breaking anything... just don't want to make things worse. Thanks...

oes your GS2 report the DVD driver version? If not then the drivers aren't loaded and that's your problem. Or you can check System Configuration/Options/DVD Driver version.

i also have the same prob with the dvds and believe that some neo 2.5's need a capacitor on leg 2 to stop it blowing the dvd laser.

hope ur's just needs realignment(i wish mine did)

best of luck
