NOLF no cd/exe help

I've tried both versions of the no cd/exe file for No One Lives Forever, with no luck. I get the error "Nolf.exe is not a valid win32 file." I'm on Win2000, is this the problem? Thanks to anyone who replies.

You need win2k fix to play NOLF on win2k
