Hi there, I've bought baldur's gate II and, as I usually do, I tried to do a back-up, but when I tried to install it, it stopped at 1% and my computer jammed! I tried two other times and it did the same thing.

If you have any solution, answer me...

thanks, TET

apparently the install wiz that bioware use for bg2 has lots of bugs in it... sometimes it asks for CD5 too... :)
go check the board at interplay to see if they have any tips...
other than that all I can guess at is that you have a bad burn... try making a new copy and see if it helps...

Yes, I agree on the bad copy in your case. With the US-Version there, during install, *next disc*is required after the fourth cd, a floppy disk ! Experience shows that CloneCD is working perfectly on BG2. Use settings read sub and fastskip of sectors, write with sub+dao.

Yeah I have also had this problem and have discovered what it was since I haven't had the problem since and have re-installed the game 2 times since. If you are using more than 2 CD rom's to install the game this is the cause of that problem so only use the 1 cd drive to install it with and you shouldn't get this problem.
