Problem crash team racing

I have a problem playing my backed up copy of CRT on my chipped playstation (original).
It coppied ok but will not procced passed the screen were they all come racing out of the naughty dog crate.
I have tryed all four patches and no success.

first of all what program are u using to back it up and what version do u have.

I copied CTR with either Nero or CDclone without any problems. I am using a game wizard mod chip in the IOport in back. How fast did you copy it? The copy speed should be 1x or 2x.

I was able to burn the US version of CTR without using a patch, by simply using the backup disc function in cdrwin.
