I just bought this game, and it does not play because it says my playstation might have been modified, which it has. I tried burning a copy of it and says same thing. I then downloaded a patch, and I patched it, but when I play that cd, it is like the vertical hold is out of the tv.. it scrolls up up up.. Has anyone successfully backed up this game?

I'm in the same situation however I can't even find the patch to disable the copy protection. It sounds like the patch you used may have also converted it from ntsc to pal. Try patching back to ntsc.
