problem with loading of code veronica

i've a backup copy of re code veronica...the game starts (modchip neo2.2 and ar2 v2.0)but when i press start game the screen blocks,and there is only write "now loading" and it doesn't begin....
how i can resolve this problem?

I don't think it works with AR2/2.0. You need 1.7 or 1.9

u cand download a image of 1.7 here

it wont load straight in as its a copy u must boot it behind your origanl ar2 v2(instead swapping for game swap for version 1.7 then carry on as normal

the problem isnt ar...the game starts..there is the video introduction and after the menu (load game,new game,options)when i press start game it block!!

I had the same problem with sim###n road rage using a dvd rip on mine,
(PS2 3003 pal / NEO4) i added a EA patch but still the same, it works fine on DVD-R
i know that this isnt much advice but i think the patch/neo is the problem.
