Burning Prob

Hey I have a stealth 5 mod chip and I burned 2 games the first freezes at the orange triangle logo and the other one freezes at the playstation logo but it has x's where the t text should be i burned with cdrwin and fireburner help me plz
I have done burning before and never experienced this!however i did do do the other burns on a different comp!

The first thing that comes to mind is that the writer you are using isn't compatible with the CDRwin find out here http://www.goldenhawk.com

What game have you tried to copy? is it a protected game? what settings have you used?

nope it is compatible

I had this problem in the early days and managed to sort it out by using slower speeds to read and write and also by using a grade of media.

what games are they are they protected if so did you patch them whats the make is your writers as some have had probs with phillips based writers

Did you use the default settings with cdrwin??[error recovery should be set to abort], What type of burner do you have??, after you load the cue file into fireburner try right clicking the data file and check it for corruption. If it isn't corrupted then it should burn correctly.

this problem sounds very familar. What burner do you actually have.
i have a LG8120b which golden hawk says is compatiable but it is not, i had the exact same problem as you,
