trying to copy for the first time....please help!!

can you please tell on what to do to copy ps2 games,i have a region x cd which i can play copied games on .trouble is i have to buy them,,,,not really into buying them so i thought why not copy them.i have a cd writer with nero burning but just can't copy any games..any info would be welcomed.....many thanks
