Parasite eve2 problem

hey,
i got a copy of parasite eve 2 off my friend and it works perfectly but when i get so far(after finishing the mall stage)
it locks up when the utah or whatever the place is, loading screen ####ts

any one know how to fix this?

yes that is the protection. it will also stop you when you insert disc 2 and once more when you go down the elevator to fight the giant nmc. simply use the patch done by static and it will work.

you must patch both discs and the problem will be solved.

Do I have to path just the fisrt disk with the STATIC patch or both? I used the Italian one by BAD but didn't work. Tnx
