Few questions about ps one modchip?

1 - Does ps1 modchip found in ####://playstationmods.com/ allow me to play ntsc games without getting a black and white picture?

2 - Which one is better, the modchip or the bootloader v2.0 cd? And what is the difference advantages and disadvantages between them?

3 - Is this the best ps one modchip or does anybody recommend another one?

4 - Which one is better, game enhacer or ps one bootloader cd v2.0

If you can fit a mod chip as it saves faffing about when you want to play games. a boot cd needs to be put in every time you want to play a back-up but the chip is always in.

My ps chip was brought from ####://www.kaneaction.co.uk and it plays imports in colour but you have to make sure you get the wires right. just follow the instructions on the site.

As Deano says the chip does save you having to swop a boot disc for every backup you wanna play. If you dont wanna chip your PS1, the Exchange boot cd will do the job and you wont have to chip your ps1. You can get it from the site Deano posted above.
