Help!!! With extracting patch files!

I have tried to backup a my tetris game with with cdrwin and I followed the instructions to the letter. But, I get stumped when it says to "extract the patch archive to the path containing the cd-image file" From there it tells me to "open a Dos-box/ms-dos prompt and change the directory to the path containing the cd-image file (and patch)"

HELP!!! How do I do that in laymans terms. AS you can tell I'm new at this. Please HELP!

If this helps I did evrything but that extracting part and tried to copy the game. Windows explorer can see the copied files, but the playstation can not. AHHH! I'm lost!

Which game are you trying to backup exactly?

And what version of windows are you using? as Windows M.E. has no dos window for use.
