How I can enter cheats in my ###ne?

Please tell me how I can enter cheat codes in my playstation games? Do I need to attach another device? Or there is some memory card trick? Please help me out of this silly situation as I do not know about PSX much!

It depends on the type of cheats your talking about. Some games have built in cheats, you simply enter a combination of button's to activate them - up,down,square,triangle, etc. If you want ready made cheats you have to purchase a gameshark lite or and action replay.
