PS2 to pieces

Can anyone tell me how to take my PS2 appart new to this I have had it chipped but it wont play ea sports so having looked through the sight I think that pins 5 and 6 are touching because the cd tray will not open after holding the reset in. Can anyone point me in the right direction

Try going to www.modchip.com and go to the instructions/direction link for installing their mod chip. If I remember correctly, it describes which screws to undo etc. It's irrelevant, of course, as to which mod chip you've got for this purpose.

if the tray won´t open after holding reset pressed the point 5 + 6 were disconnected from their place. when 5 + 6 are connected together the tray won´t open at all!

Thanks for your help guys wire on 6 came off all ok now thanks
