problems while playing burnt Crono Cross

does anyone have problems playing a burnt Crono Cross? For me when i get to a certain point in the game the Cd stops spinning. No scratches on the Cd or anything. Anyone else have a problem like this?

i just used cdrwin and it worked just fine (too bad it was a terrible game hehe)

i used clonecd. maybe if i burnt it at 1x it would work.
