Origa on V2 NTSC PS2 - can this be done?

I have a friend who wanted to install a Origa chip on his NTSC V2 PS2. On the Origa web site, they said they only support V3 and V4 US machine.

He wanted to know if Origa and V2 NTSC PS2 are possible.

Ypu'd have to trust their advice because OrigaChip for US came out during the lifetime of v4 and they wouldn't have been able to obtain v2s.
