WANT TO CHANGE SOME OF THE FILES BEFORE THE BACKUP, HOW?

Hi,
I'd like to make a backup copy of ISS pro changing the names of the players. That means that I have to copy all the Files to my HD, change them and then make the copy of the whole files, not a BIN or whatever.
That possible, but will the CD work??
