i have tried to search this info i am new at tis and downloaded cdrwin and cd clone but still having problems cdrwin wont detect either of my burners i have an external acer4406 and an internal sony crx140e the sony is suppose to be cdrwin supported what am i doing wrong????

Which version of Windows are you running?

If ME or 2000 then you may need to upgrade your ASPI layer.

i am using windows 98 have burned some backups with nero but am tring to learn how to patch and wanted to use cdrwin but when i try to copy to image it saysnow cd recording devices were detected neither of my burners are cdclone compatable dont know what to do?
