Why Can't I make Backups work..

I have tried and tried to make backups of my games, however they do not work when I try to play them in my psx, the games I have burned are NHL FaceOff 2001 and DarkStone, Neother one of them work.. I am using a mini GoldFinger, and was hoping one of you people could help me out..

We really need some more info to go on.....

...... but my first instinct would be to try an internal mod chip instead of the external plug mod.

it could be alot of things,what type of cd writer do you have? What software do you use?? What brand of cdr's do you use, As spooky said we need a little more info!! As far as the plug mod goes some people like them but I have never had much luck with them. The audio skips, you can't play multi disc games or in some cases the backups will not load at all. In the long run its better to install a stealth mod-chip!!
