Help with ppf patchen

Gidday. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to apply the PPF patch... Here's what I thinks goin on. Extract with cdr_win. Apply the ppf patch then apply the 2sp patch then burn back to blank cd???? Do I need to apply both patches and where can I get the ppf patcher. Fanx, I'm still a rookie at this and could use some help....
Also. Which is the most reliable patching method which is also quite userfriendly??????

Just get PPF-O-Matic Paradogs if my guess is right. Then Get the patch from say megagames.com(For example:SmackDown 2) and then come back to PPF-O-Matic.
Browse for the file in the above proggie and press patch. And u r all done to make the backup of the Game.
