Can anybody help me , I'am new to patching and dont seemto be getting anywhere . Using CDRWIN ver 4.0 beta unlocked , I download the patch to a newly created directory called patch and unzip it . I creat a image file name C:\windows\patch\game in CDRWIN - select disc image / cue sheet from extract mode - reading options -raw error recovery -abort jitter correction -auto subcode analysis -auto
Data and Audio speed max . Then press start start . The game cd copies to the directory no problem . Using Ppf-o-matic 2 I enter the ppf and bin files and press apply and get sucessfully patched ! I think it is at this point it goes wrong --Going to CDRWIN --Record disk select Load Cuesheet - from the patch directory select .cue file in recording options run test first to see if it goes through ok normally select x4 and then press start recording .With nothing selected in recording options I press start recording and burn for real . It normally goes through without any problem
BUTTT the game does not play and when I read the recorded disc in explorer it has no files on it but says no space on disc so presumably it has been burnt ? What am I doing wrong I read somewhere that DOS was to be used is that correct ? I use 80 min discs and have done lots of normal copying with any problems at all . My copier is a Samsung CDR/RW SW-408B BS02 8x8x32 Someone please help me I'am going potty !!!!!!!
