View Full Version : SSX
I HAVE MADE 4 COPYS USING CDRWIN, DISCJUGGLER, EASY CD CREATOR AND CLONE CD BUT NOT ONE WORKS. I HAVE A HP8200 WRITER. CAN SOME ONE HELP!! ???
SSX snowboarding is an EA (electronic arts) game.
There are different instructions for booting copied ea ps2 games. These instructions are as follows (taken from www.pmcmodchips.com):
------------------------
PS2 EA Sports Games and other that wont boot - Hold reset until AR2/GS2 menu and disc slows right down - let go - swap disc (you have 4 seconds).
------------------------
Give that a try and you should find that the games should now work OK.
l8er,
4nim4l.
tryed than its just not working i have other er games that work fine. this one just hangs up with a black screen.
ok considering the advice you got was crap here goes:
i have the same burner
get clonecd
install it
put the ssx game in the cdrom and do a read and then write, (read to the hard drive and write from the hard drive to disc)
use the following settings for clonecd
i know that i had originally posted these settings for the dreamcast but they are identical so follow the settings to a tee:
the clonecd settings
i use an external 8200HP burner on usb connection, computer with 256megs ram and stupidly huge hard drive and processor
i always use verbatim az0 blue technology 80min, 700mb cdrs the best in my opinion, not a single coaster doing backup to
backup, or image to backup, i rip games and i always use these to backup.
therefore use these settings at your own risk of creating a coaster:
clonecd version 2.4.8...

the part about the coaster i have never made one, so ignore it
i have a gameshark 1.3 and no chips, no patches just the knife method (well the modified credit card method my own little thing)
