PS2 OnLine?

I know that final fantasy XI will be an online game... Well does any know when PS2 will have a MODEM... If they do is it gonna be seperate?? or will it come with a newer version of PS2.. If you have INFO on this can u tell me thankz.. ohh yeah juss wanted to be one of the first to mention Final Fantasy XI will be released simotaneosly on the same date in JAPAN and AMERICA.. CANT WAIT TILL THAT COMES

We were orinially told ff10 would be an online game, but believe it or not, it ain't. (Although from what i've seen, it still looks pretty good).

Modem gaming has never hit off on consoles. I mean look at the dreamcast, talk about LAG! PC's will always be on top as far as online gaming goes, so just get ff11 for the PC when it is finally released ;)

This is just a guess, so don't pounce on me if i'm wrong, i don't know how the technical elements of the ps2 work. But i wouldn't be suprised if they used USB compatible modems, i doubt they would have stuck 2 ports on the front just so u can plug a keyboard in to do a bit of YABASIC programming :)

Neway thats still in the future so i wouldn't be too concerned about it yet, who knows what Sony will do, but expect delays. The hype wouldn't be there without any delays!
