Is someone deleting messages?

I have just noticed that a message I posted, and the message I was responding to have vanished into thin air in the last 10 minutes. Is there someone out there who can enlighten me on this mystery. I don't want to ruffle feathers I just want to know the reason.

Depending on content the poster may be deleted as well.
