your modchip eject's dvd's Charlie ?!

Charlie thnx for your answer regarding my question about dvdr swapping by using a dvd original, but now i'm even more confused by your answer you say that your 8w modchip trows out dvd's so you can swap it with an dvdr copy but my chip only trows out cd's and no dvd's (except for movies) so does that mean that i can't play dvdr copy's ,even if my origa chip will be installed later on ?
do you really have a different modchip or does the combination with the origa chip you have installed make dvd's come out as well ?
i wanted gt3 to use for my cd games (650mb limit) but that seems outta the question, causse it won't come out !
i've read your post on how to bypass the 650mb problem with a copy of region x japanese but the link is dead and i can't find it on the net also,
so i hope you can send me a link or email it to me.
I really am worried becausse i want to play dvdr's too in the near future :(

ANSWER: OrigaChip 1.25 JAP will play DVDRs (I think using DVD Region X) according to the spec. So the original modchip won't be required. When I get my 1.25 and put it in the other 15000, without another modchip, I'll let you know.

ANSWER: If your modchip doesn't auto-eject JAP DVD original games then it is not the same original modchip as mine. The combination of the Origachip has no effect on the DVD backup scenario; I still have to boot with a JAP DVD to make a DVDR play. Origachip 1.11 ignores DVDR.

ANSWER: Yes, the link is dead now. It is 47MB zipped so can't be e-mailed. But in any case a DVD cannot be used as the Boot game to bring in a CD behind it; the laser is set by the boot process for DVD.

ANSWER: If you have ordered OrigaChip 1.25 then I think you have no worries.
