PS2 & CDclone ?????

I'm new at this so sorry for the stupid questions:

1)Do I need to put the patches after making an image with CDclone?
2)What speed should I burn the backup with? 1x is too slow could I do it faster?
3)Do I need a mod chip to play the game or I have to do the PS2 Swap Trick to play the game?
4)Then do I need a special boot disk and where could I get one?

Some answers for you:

1) You don't need a patch for a CDclone copy!
2) Try burning at 2x as the faster you get, the less reliable the copy!
3) You will need a mod chip to play, unless you wanna rip open your PS2 & do the swap-trick forever!!
4) Apparently the Boot-Disc was only for the Jap PS2 so unless yours is a Jap model, forget it!!!!!!!!
