I fitted a 7 wire mod chip in my sons 9002 psx
and now it will only play copies not original games
any one know why?

If I remember correctly (help if I'm wrong anyone...) this can be caused by having a bad or missing connection on pin 5. Try it, and check all you rother connections whilst your at it.
