View Full Version : HEavy scratched games ok to burn?

iam new to psx burning but have been doin pc games for awhile and i was wondering if a heavily scratched cd (all rented games are round here) can be copied with good results?

if they're heavy scratched, then you might have problems... really long wait time's while it tries to read the errors, or possibly just waiting a long long time for it to finish. or the disc will fail. you wont be able to get an image out of it. if you do manage to get an image out of a heavily scratched disc, then the cd-r copy will be better, because your cd/rw or dvd rom will be able to read a hellavu lot better than your psx laser. so you could actually recover lost data. anyhow, when you do get the fresh burned cd-r outta it, you probably wont have as many problems that you normally get from of the original. good luck. i wrote this while stoned =)

stoned guy is right if you can get a image out of it then it will work better then the original

try using BLINDWRITE SUITE its very good for burning troublesome games.

Hi, Please help me. I couldnīt burn PSX Cds with CloneCD, CDRWIN, NERO 5.0 neither.
After the image was done and when the cd recorder start, right next this message appear:

Error:Write command failed on device 0:3:0
unexpected target error 04h 00h ffh

What can I do?
I need to burn some Cds...

My CDRW is a Yamaha 4260 SCSI External
My SCSI Card is a DTC 3510A

your cdrw may not be supported by those programs.. i have a ricoh that is only supported by nero, not by cdrwin or clone cd.. but i have a phillips that is supported by all 3 programs.. you can usually find a list of which cdrw's are supported somewhere in the help file's.
