Mod Chips and PSX 9000 Series

Hi everyone,

My old PSX 5501 just died on me. Im looking for a replacement and wanted to buy the psx 9000 series dual shock. My question is how long do you play with a psx with a internal mod chip inside. If possible can anyone point to me a website that sells the 7501 series cause I would rather play my backups with a game enhancer rather than having a modchip that can burn at any given moment.

i have a internal mod in my psx and have been playing on it for 3 years and it still plays with no problems. with the game enhaners they dont play all the games

What model of the psc are you using. Also which series of psx do you recommend to get modified. The PSX Dual Shock 9000 series or the new PS1.
