I Have a backup of driver 2 PAL UK It's work's fine with no patch.(sofur)
I Haven't got on the 2nd disk yet it mite need a patch.
Does anyone no if it does need a patch for the 2nd disk?

the second disk works just as good as the first, no problems encountered whatsoever

Are you sure on disk two.I made two seperate copies of the game and both first disks work fine but not the second disk???
