I'm updating my 4 wire mod chip to a 7 wire stealth. (friend programmed 12c508 for me)
I never had trouble with 4 wire including not having to patch any games but this anti mod protection got me!
I think the stealth hex version is 2.7
I wired the stealth and can only play original games.
anyone have newer hex with pics for install? or does anyone know where I can find the hex and pics???

I have ordered a set of 7 wire mod chip so that I can sell them and for them to be solder onto the PSX. They gave me a diagram for each of the different models of PS that are out and each one have a different places that the 7 wires need to be soldered. I think this will answer your question. If you need more info email me and give me your model # of your PSX (SCPH-xxxx) and I will send you an email of the diagram for your PSX.
