Unable to get copy of Triple Play 99 to work- newbie

This is the 1st CD backup I have made. I have a Ricoch 7060a and using softwareWin on Cd ver 3.6. I tried copying my sons Triple Play 99 CD in 2 different ways. First I tried the all in one step which completed without any errors. I also tried doing a separate image file to the hard drive 1st and then copy. I had problems with the .XA files in that it could not copy them without an error. I just ignored these errors and the copy process finished. Both of the the CD's seem to have the correct number of total bytes,etc. Is there something ( ?patch, crack, etc.) I need to get the Playstation to recognize these backup copies. When I put the backups in the PSX it seems like it's not recognizing the CD's. I would appreciate any suggestions.
I believe my computer Pentium 111 intel 500 is configured correctly. I am using Win 98 Second edition.

Hi Al

When i first started i had the exact same problem. First thing i did was move to VERBATIM Cd's - Blue back (GR8) and second thing was using NERO BURNING ROM (GR8). This combo has NEVER EVER let me down. May be worth a shot. I know how you feel as my 6 yr old always hounds me.
