im clueless to what i'm doing!! ""please help me""

i am new to this sh#@.i read how to burn cds, but there confusing me . i'm confused about what software to use with what. how do i know if the file is cdi., cue., etc etc........ Right now all i have is clone cd and adaptec software.Can you tell me what software to use to get me started. what are patches for. i told u i need help realy bad!!!!!!!

1.get disk juggler ...thats for the *.cdi images
2.Nero and cdrwin ..(you can use the trial versions with limit to 1x speed .to cdrwin
better register legally ,cuze its highly protected,
if you cheat on that,it anyways says registered
but isnt ,..and you will get only coasters..)
its not so expensive to register ,:o)
3.cdi2nero to convert cdi to nero if its
mabe not working with dj
4.download the image ,check with the *.sfv
(get "quick sfv" from the net its freeware )
file if all the files have a size from normally 20 megs each except the last one ..
5.unrar them
6.load the cdi in dj ,do not change any settings !
7.burn
8.use a good blank ie verbatim,traxdata,...
get 700 mb blanks .!
9.play

if you have a new dc console ..read what to do
to get them work ..in the forum ..

forgot ..some games do need the boot cd ...

mostly they are selfboot ,

patches..they are there for
1.adding a trainer to a mabe hard game ,so that
you can cheat ...
2.mabe a earlier release was buggy
and that patch will fix that bugs ...
3.you need a patch for sonic 2 for example
4.checkout www.isonews.*** for the sfv files
and the nfos ...there you will find a lot about released
games ,and mabe trainer releases ...also
about the size of the game and how many
rars ,also about what type of the image is

you add a patch with the patch programms
here on that site (ppf ..),you also get the trial versions
of everything here ,check out the site ...
