The Mack of all Daddies

i downloaded an iso and it came out in .cdi format, and when i burn it with diskjuggler, it burns fine with no errors but when i put it into the dreamcast, the dreamcast reads it as a music cd and the game wont play. I read at another site that the settings are supposed to be at 'mode 1' and 'TOC:CD-DA' so i changed it to those settings and the dreamcast still reads the game as a music cd. i really need some help. thanks to any replies
NO, NO, NO... You don't *TOUCH* the settings in Disc Juggler! The only setting you may need to change is the "OVERBURN" in Advanced. All settings you need are already built into the .CDI file.
Do not drag the CDI to Disc Juggler - because it takes it as a .CDJ if you do (and will burn a coaster everytime).
Click on NEW, choose "CD IMAGE to CD" and then click on the source ICON (it looks like a folder). Then browse to your .CDI.
You can sometimes tell if your so-called "SUCCESSFUL BURN" is really a success or a coaster by simply looking at the disc in your computer's CDROM drive. If you don't see files in the drive, if it looks like a blank disc with 648 meg free, or if it looks like an AUDIO disc, it's a bad burn and probably won't work in the Dreamcast.
Also, your DC may be a newer variety - check the sticker on the bottom. If it has the date of "OCTOBER 2000" or later, it won't work with standard .CDI files. You'll have to extract the .CDIs and reconstruct all games using mkisofs.exe and the newest copy of BINBOOT before they will work on the later Dreamcast machines.
