View Full Version : patching a primo dvd backup ?
How do i patch a ps2 dvd game after copying it to the hard drive using primo dvd software (.gi ) ?
I don't think it can be done with a .GI file. But you could try this.
Try burning the DVD as an ISO. Then rename the ISO to a BIN file. Apply your patch with PPF-O-MATIC and rename the file back to ISO. Then burn it back to DVD-R.
My source for this is CRONO on the PSX forum. His advice on doing this with IMG files was good and I posted a solution in the PS2 forum on 17-Nov-01.
Please report the result back to this forum. Incidentally, why do you need to do this? If you have a PAL TV and you want to play NTSC copies, just use the BLAZE scart lead or an NTSC-PAL Convertor.
Good luck (I might try it but not before XMAS - just for the hell of it).
