Hi all,

I have a problem with the official Rogue Squadron 3D v1.2 patch:

https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/769-star-wars-rogue-squadron-3d-patch-12/

I am not able to install it unter Win 10, 64 Bit. The patch keeps telling me, that my version is already up to date. "The game data is more recent than this update". I am still on version 1.0.

Is someone of you able to decompile this official 1.2 Patch and exe-file to provide me the extracted content data in a separate zip-file?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

It's not a standard (Inno, MSI, NSIS, Wise etc.) installer, you can't take it apart easily. It may be an RTPatch but I can't find its signatures. I would launch an older version of Windows in a virtual machine (e.g. VirtualBox) and try it there.

GOG have this one fortunately..Sadly Battle for Naboo still not..Problem with the originals are that the originals are that installers were made 16 bits while the games installed were 32 bits..Why that rare install way I dont know..And while Windows 64 Bits dont 16 NTVDM Support and arent dos installers for dosbox
the problem arises again..
