What is the difference between They typical The Adata HD320 usb hardrive and the Adata HM900.. I note the HM900 is more robust on design and more bigger I mean the physical 3.5 over the typical 2.5 size I noted something about recording to TV on then drive itself..And it requires an an adapter directly to the power outlet I thought that was not necessary on any modern usb drives anymore so its a by consufing even its design so what are the differences vs usage and so on on both??..

Start with the specifications: HM900 (https://www.adata.com/us/consumer/362) and HV320 (https://www.adata.com/us/consumer/585). :) I would say that, for home, where you have a power outlet and you don't want to move the hard disk, the HM900 would be a better choice as it's available in bigger capacities; for travel, obviously the HV320 as it's small and doesn't require a power outler. If I had to choose between these two, I would buy the HV320, for its size and mobility.
(These are quite different products but, in general, confusing the customer with dozens of slightly different products is intentional.)
