Conversion for Newbies

Is there a good tutorial to convert the compression via LOLZ, RAZOR etc., so that even newbies can do it?

I've already tried UltraARC, it's OK too, but I'd like to get the compression done like FitGirl.

But first I have to read something to understand that.

fit girl has no tools other than those that are here in this forum. she takes out the folders or files that are used for multiplayer and here she is able to do small repack;)

This is an example how to compress and decompress using srep+lolz method.

Yes, that's exactly what I need. It doesn't have to be a GUI, but the BAT file is a great thing. And that Unpack BAT is also there. I think the normal 7-zip is ok, but there still has to be a little more feasible. Even with audio files in M4a format or video MKVs. I am sure that you know what you are doing here and that you can certainly teach me a lot.


Is there a mix of compression that can give the best result? I know that depends on the original files. But is there a mixture that you find the best as a standard?

7zip can not compress Matroska(mkv) as it is already compressed format.
losslessly compression of Matroska with high compression ratio is not possible.
If you still want to compress mkv ,you can try Lossy compression.
