Conversion Updated to new DLC Wasteland 3 The Battle of Steeltown

Choose compression methodCan't seem to find what is the actual method anywhere

You have to choose a method yourself.

Just try with srep+4x4:lzma for example.

Did this of GOG version latest with all DLC included etc...

26 Minutes 34 seconds install time about same as GOG does anyway.

ElAmigos is 12.8 GB and installs in ~20 mins, other prominent repackers have similar or better results
so I was just wondering if the most space efficient algorithm is public knowledge yet
don't wanna bother them directly, that's too invasive

Since it's a unity game, I would try srep+lolz{:settings}

I don't have the game so I can't tell you for sure.
