i've downloaded WinZip, WinRaR, and Discjuggler v3. installed all of them. also downloaded San Francisco Rush 2049. i'm supposed to have 28 files(e-sf2049.001-e-sf2049.028)... but for some reason, i only have 4:

1st_read.bin
2-2049fx.nfo
ip/bin
sf2049.ppf

please tell me what i'm doing wrong. under WinRar, i only see the above files after i've extracted it. where can i browse to see that 28 files??

Those four files are the contents of those 28 other files you were talking about (.001 thru .028 ). You have already extracted them from the 28-segment RAR file using WinRAR, obviously.

Also, those files are not in a burnable image. Those are files that you would create a disc with, using the Echelon self-boot tutorial. Get the Echelon tutorial and all programs it mentions, and try making a self-boot disc following the instructions. I recommend using CDRECORD instead of CDRWIN when the tutorial gives you the option.

i just downloaded the file you mentioned. i really wanted to get a more simple way to do it, if that's possible. i was on www.internetconvoy.com and under "How to burn a game using a DiscJuggler," i'm supposed to have 28 files(e-sf2049.001-e-sf2049.028). however, i only got the 4 i mentioned above. i searched for the e-sf2049.cdi file and i can't find it using DJ3.
i really wanted to use DJ3 because it doesn't require a boot-cd from what i've read-- or am i wrong?
also, when i tried to make a bootdisc using Winzip and Discjuggler with instructions from internetconvoy, i'm supposed to have 3 text files on it... i followed the intructions step-by-step, but only ended up with a text called Gurksaft!
i know this may sound simple to a lot of you, but man, i've been trying to figure this out for 3 nights now!! help!
thanks!

Well it sounds like you didn't download the 28 RAR files then. Did you download all the 4 files in a zipfile? How did you end up with those four files instead of the 28 RAR files. You understand that each segment of the RAR file is going to be about 20,000KB (19.51MB, I think), don't you? If you download 28 files of 20M each, that's actually 560MB. Hope your on a broadband connection instead of dialup.

Anyway, try downloading the 28 files again - I can't explain how you got 4 files instead of 28 RAR segments. You'll have to figure that one out for yourself. I just thought you had downloaded the 28 files, unRARed it and extracted the files from the image somehow and got confused.
