Far Cry 3 2xDVD9 -> 3xDVD5 Converter

FreeArc need to be installed on your system.
Conversion is for the european version.

1. Install the game + Patch 1.01 and insert your dvd

2. Download attachment, extract completely(wherever you want) and launch converter.exe.

3. Select the drive, where the TEMP folder should be, select settings and click on "Convert"
-> You can enable Create Iso function

4. Burn temp folder or burn the ISO file

DVD1 = 4.20 GB
DVD2 = 4.33 GB
DVD3 = 1.46 GB

FINISHED!!!:D

I have 2 dvds, but how i put in the "DVD Folder" for the conversion???? In the middle of conversion it will request the 2º DVD????

you extract the game on you hd dvd1 and dvd2 and select the foder wher you extract

yener90 you missing the autorun.exe in folder 2&3 and the autorun.inf is missing line :)

can I adapt this conversion for fit in a DVD9 (or at least 2xDVD5).
Delete foreign languages save over 1,7 gb. With a little compression can fit in a DVD9 I suppose, or without compression sure fit in a 2xdvd5

The conversion ends normally - but at the installation of the third dvd i get WPC.dll
error (out of range) and the installation crashes
....anyone with the same problem..

read post #7.... basically says to extract BOTH dvds to a temp folder, then when converter asks for DVD1 you select the folder where you extracted both dvds.

Portuguese Brazil support only in subtitles. Menus and tutorials only in english.

Ubisoft has promised a full translation to our language a month after the game's release via a patch.

Search on google and you will see. ;)

I solve my problem with the installation...i use the portuguese option to install in portuguese.... :P
But the portuguese of the game and your conversion is brazilian, so please change for our flag "canarinho"....

are you sure multicommon is only multiplayer file?
EDIT : anyway 1.7 gb are total size of foreign language, both in folder multicommon and fc3_main. So if you delete the entire multicommon folder you save 3,93 gb + about 800 mb of foreign language in folder fc3_main.
So for fit in DVD5 there are this possibility (if someone want to test) : delete multicommon folder save 3.93 gb (if it possible to delete) + delete foreing langage in fc3_main save 800 mb + delete directx and put directx web setup save 100 mb + delete Framework and put framework web setup and save 240 mb.
Total save is about 5 gb, with a little compression (if the compression is possibile) can fit in a DVD5.

Sure you can delete the mp folder. If you want to have a non-working useless game.

FarCry 3 has integrated multiplayer map. One of the islands in the is for multiplayer servers so if you delete it, game wont launch properly, CTD. Deleting multiplayer is not possible.

Not necessary delete anything if you use freearc+srep+lzma. reduce size to 6.99GB with all languages support.

I would not advise deleting anything, maybe these files are necessary for future updates. Ubisoft sucks with updates.

You can catch (and collect into a .reg file) registry changes with RegFromApp (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/reg_file_from_application.html).

maybe something wrong with OS ( i used it on 32bit/Win7)

and I posted that I've tested it on BOTH W7X64 / W8X64 and it works perfectly. You three have something thats interfering with the conversion.

Turn OFF AV, make sure realtime protection is OFF.

As a test, I imaged my OS, reformatted to W7X86-Sp1... Installed perfectly fine from conversion files. You can play from original installed version without issues? AND you've uninstalled ORIGINAL version BEFORE trying to installed from Conversion ?????
