Everything seems to work without problems. Conversion and installation. Only desktop shortcut creation is missing.

Have you tick the checkbox for desktop shortcut?

No music during installation, no screenshots displayed. Nothing. This seems really underwhelming, to be honest. And not unlike KaktoR's usual work.

I also saw no options to install the redistributables. Would you like me to provide data on those?

Also sied's feedback is right on the money, desktop shortcut is just wrong...

Sorry to disapoint you, i am out of creating fancy installers at all.

But i can add music and slideshow if you want, and fix the shortcut.

That would be very nice of you. ;-)

Nights of Azure 2_En.exe is the main executable (for English text ingame). _Env is merely a configuration screen.

Redists:

{src}\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe
{src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x86.exe
{src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x64.exe

Preferably (optimal scenario) installable from last DVD. (after installation of main game files).

Heck, I think I know what I'm using all that free space for. After all - JP collector's edition boxes of both games are already on the way and when I fire up that scanner...

What about "Nights of Azure 2_Launcher.exe"?

In steam config it's defined as standard executable

Nights of Azure 2_En.exe is for other languages
Launcher is for English users

edit-- looks like i was told something completely wrong, for this
well at least its should be right now.

Wrong.

Nights of Azure 2_Launcher is what the name says - a launcher. It runs _Env for settings and chooses the main game exe based on language set in .ini / settings.
Main EXEs launching the game straight (like in Pakrat's installer for the first game which makes a shortcut for CNN.exe instead of CNNLauncher.exe):
Nights of Azure 2_En.exe - English text
Nights of Azure 2_CHT.exe - Chinese text
Nights of Azure 2_JP.exe - Japanese text
Regardless of text language chosen, voice is always Japanese - just like the first game, the second title was left completely without any dubbing.

Conversion updated.

- Is now using "Nights of Azure 2_En.exe" as shortcut.
- Is now using redist installation (DirectX, VC2012).
- Note: Redist will only be installed if you install from mounted ISO or DVD!
- Added Music
- Added slideshow

OK, I've performed a full test of the installer. The only gripe I have with it is that the HDD space required for the game is 13 GB according to the installer. In truth, the game takes 17 GB of free space.

Aside from that - excellent music choice (that's the main theme appearing in the post-prologue intro video!), beautiful shots you chose there, showcasing just about every major character except for Malvasia. "i am out of creating fancy installers at all." - yeah, right. The way I see it, you're doing a fantastic job practically every time. You still got it. Splendid work there, KaktoR. Thank you for responding so quickly and fully to my feedback there.
