Assassin's Creed III
(2x DVD9 to 2x DVD5) *Standard Edition* *FULL*

1) Install the game and then update to v1.01

2) Remove the foreign languages files from 'sounddata\Pc' & 'multi\sounddata\Pc' folders

3) Extract 'AC3_2x_DVD5.7z' contents (not in game folder)

4) Launch Compress.bat & wait...

5) Copy from 1st DVD9 to 'AC3_2DVD5\AC3\Disk1' folder :

'Support' folder

6) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

Note: I suggest to backup the sound files removed to mantain update compatibility,
because Ubisoft uses xdelta diff engine for updates that may require the presence of these files.

2) Extract 'AC3_2x_DVD5_DLC.7z' contents (not in game folder)

3) Launch Re-sampling.bat & wait...

4) Replace the files of previous conversion (Setup.exe,Data4.bin,Data6.bin files) with new ones

Note:
If you want, the batch allows to rip out the multiplayer files without biks resampling (3 bik videos of multiplayer part).

Now, the OS field description is displayed properly also on Windows Phone :D AKA Windows 8.

No:(, without MP the size is around 5 gb, with biks (Good Quality) re-sampled ~ 4.8 gb :D

Thanks for the answer Peter! Have you by chance tested with more than 1 language? I LOVE AC with italian voices, but I would like to burn it with spanish files also for the friends...

No:(, the Data2 wouldn't fit on 1st dvd, this AC is a huge game (>15 gb)!.

You could do both italian (for u) & spanish (for friends) conversion :eek::D

Which setup.ini you talking about?:confused:

My script doesn't use any setup.ini, maybe you need to update the script at latest FreeArc.

the reason u getting any error with this coversion is cause peter used xdelta in his compression and i dont think yeners script supports xdelta and exe2 look at the compress.bat from peter's conversion. this is wat i see just looking at it i could be wrg.

to launch the autorun.exe automatically after successfully completed installation, put it also on Disk2

sounds_sfx.pck file is required for music, ambient sounds... for all languages!:D

Edit the following row (Compress.bat, changes in red) :

Before the conversion:

Put empty archive file in AC3_2DVD5\AC3\Disk2 folder and then launch Compress.bat.

After the conversion:

Replace Data6.bin file with empty archive.

Compression time: 2-3 hours (Compression speed strongly depends from CPU and RAM)

Installation time: ~ 15 minutes

delta+exe2=delta compression+dispack compression

XDelta= delta encoding, which generates two file differences

I never used XDelta encoding in my conversion, because there was no need.

The issue can be solved using the latest version of unarc.dll.

After second pass i am getting this error

Error:can't allocate memory required for<de>compression in lzma:158mb:normal:bt4:273:mc1000:lc8, -lc/-ld to limit memory usage

WARNING: Freearc returns an error in Data1.bin!:confused::(

[...] got the solution.......but when i was creating archives after compressing data 5.bin it jumped into data 6.bin[which is natural] but at sudden the electricity went off so i have to cancel it.so tell me how to create only data 6.bin or could i use data 6.bin from post 32 directly cause i don't want multiplayer...

as far as my knowledge goes it is clear to me that compression created by u hold first image in autorun and rest of the video and slide show pictures and music in setup file.......

so here is that unpleasant request.......

ok so i guess the problem is with data4.bin as i replaced new data4.bin with old one and with new setup u gave with this installion it worked,but with new data4.bin it gives the above error every time when extracting data4.bin........

also what's the use of new data4.bin , i have replaced new data4.bin with old one and it worked as well.......
am i doing something wrong?........

It works for me, however edit re-sampling.bat as follow, delete Data4.bin from 'AC3_2xDVD5_DLC\AC3\Disk1' and then launch the batch file:

Are you sure you used the right patch version? :confused:

The conversion is for retail version not digital one, I used the game's auto-updater from version v1.01 (Standard Edition+Benedict Arnold DLC), no problem at all! :)

For sure your version isn't retail, try to create version.bin file in the root of game's folder with the follow content:

Yes Peter, I have it also, checked when pakrat gave me those keys. Could anyone at least hand me the updated "exe's", don't mind the multiplayer update part.

Ps: I forgoted to say that when I added that line, now error message is that the update is not compatible with my game version (tested both "digital" and "ww" update). Lost here...

the update is looking for specific information for the update..

try & delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ubisoft\ ( FOR ACIII only) -> ( export a backup for all those entries first, just as backup, incase it still doesnt install ) then try both updates again.

Found it!!!!!!!

The key to blame was

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ubisoft\As sassin's Creed 3\GameUpdate]
"info"="f77ec040f361440b8eec12981898da70"
Now I can install it, but it aborts when not finding foreing languages .pck, since they were deleted ir order to do the conversion.

I'm hating this gaaaameeeeeeeeeeee

Found the way to install it!!! :D

I did the following:

*Execute the 1.02 digital patch
*BEFORE clicking "install" I went to "userprofile\appdata\local\temp" and found patch temp installation folder.
*There (multi\soundata\pc) I deleted foreing language .pck files so the update does no try to update the original ones with its content using xdelta (I left only eng and sfx so they does get the update)
*Then I clicked installed and all went fine! Installation completed without errors!

I have left only eng language, so when it looks for "fre" it says it can not find the file and abort the update.

I'd soon tried creating dummy files but installer checks its crc and says that the file does not match, abort again...

I'm stuck again... :@

Start the patch and then go to:

Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Temp\{XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXX}

delete Disk1\deltaFiles\multi folders, continue patch installation.
