this I know, but I did the conversion without any option and with ThresholdPercent = 1 and it takes more than 1:00 hours to install

Use diskspan instead of ultraarc (no merging = fast installation)

Here is diskspan Version (i used Setup.exe from "Far Cry 5 English-only_02.rar" attachment).

Compression method: None
Install time: 10 minutes
Conversion time: 10 minutes
Result: 6xDVD5 + 1xCD

To Change compression method, edit Batch file and replace "set COMPMETHD=0" with "set COMPMETHD=srep+lzma2" or whatever.

you can just use the setup.exe/ico from what conversion your doing.

How to use CIU with DiskSpan?

Use the Compiled Setup.exe+ Setup.ico + Records.ini (probably you must changed archive name inside Records.ini) alongside with diskspan compressor (use the one from Razor12911 or UCC from VollachR). Which you can get from this topic

Same as UltraARC. First DVD size minus (-) Setup.exe

All other sizes are 4470mb for DVD5 (you can change them too somewhere in batch file)

Only if you change name of Data.bin

No, you have to put records.ini into first dvd folder where setup.exe is.

So just leave it on standard settings (Data.bin.001).

And don't change archive names after conversion is finished. Diskspan writes file names inside 00# archives. If you rename them after compression, you will get an error message and Setup is unable to extract.

Maybe i will write a GUI for this (like UltraARC).

I can't tell for sure how much disks you will have after compression.

Nevermind, i use diskpand and use compress method xzlib,srep and lolz and it produce 10 dvd5 (72.4 gb to 42.9 gb) it took 6-7 hours to compress

Btw can you help me share setup.exe compatible with the compress method?
Using setup.exe in page 1 (error decompression not support)
Rather than having to recompile

sorry, I really don't know the right compression method for a game:D
I think more compression method, it can reduce the size:D
Will try compile again with your script (after hitman 2&pes 2019)
Maybe the problem is size of hdd?
Because i install the far cry 5 in the drive c and the free space of the drive c is 7gb (after install far cry 5)
And i put the script in hdd external (500 gb free space)

Danziel uninstall from C, & reinstall to external where you have alot more room. then run bat file & choose option 2. seems to work fine for most games.

Never install games onto C, always use another partition or HDD.
