No selfboot backups load !

I am new to burning dc games and im stuck. Only the games that use the bootdisk work and all the new games that selfboot just load into the dc menu. Iv tried burning at 1x speed but still none have worked. Please help! Peace

what software are you using to burn dc games

I use nero and burn 8x and have never had problems ??

Have you just recently bought your DC ? As the newer ones don't recognise self-boot games with the audio track burnt first, you could try extracting the data files from the selfbooting image to a bin/iso and then use bin2boot to make it selfbooting again. Bin2boot burns the audio track last.

I have a dc image that works very well on my friends dc console, but it will not boot on mine. As a matter of fact, no copies, nor the boot cd will boot on my dc console. Originals works fine, but no backups.

My dc console is more than 18 months old, is there any records of different hardware revisions that might be responsible for this?
