Transformers 2 Revenge of The Fallen DVD9 to 2xDVD5

1) Create 2 temp folders:

TRANSFORMERS2_1
TRANSFORMERS2_2

2) Copy all DVD9 files to TRANSFORMERS2_1 folder

3) In folder TRANSFORMERS2_1 edit with Orca Transformers2.msi to look like this:



Or download edited Transformers2.msi from here: Transformers2.rar

3) Move from TRANSFORMERS2_1 folder:

audio.cab
FRE.cab
levels.cab
levels1.cab
levels2.cab

to TRANSFORMERS2_2 folder

4) Copy from TRANSFORMERS2_1 folder:

autorun.inf
Transformers-RotF.ico

to TRANSFORMERS2_2 folder

5) Edit autorun.inf to look like this:

[autorun]
open=0
icon=Transformers-RotF.ico

6) Burn DVD1 with label: TRANSFORMERS2
Burn DVD2 with label: TRANSFORMERS2_2

Very important DVD labels !!!

Install Sequence
DVD1-DVD2-DVD1

Works 100%

you can see the label in his list out of Orca... this is, if you dont edit the .msi yourself and use the one provided in the .rar - easy as that

temp folder names are not vital! whatever you want

I choose:

TRANSFORMERS2_1 and TRANSFORMERS2_2

DVD labels MUST be:

TRANSFORMERS2 (DVD1)
TRANSFORMERS2_2 (DVD2)

since "Oth.cab" is on DVD1 you need to finish install on DVD 1

In my case, installation get stuck on 90% without error, just PC freezes need to restart. Have done all same as in post. Any clue?

shell\dinstall=DirectX(R)...

7) Edit Autorun.inf in TRANSFORMERS2 like this:

icon=Setup\rsrc\Transformers-RotF.ico
label=Transformers2 Disk2

shell\dinstall\command=Directx\dxsetup.exe
shell\dinstall=DirectX(R)...

8) Creat a folder in TRANSFORMERS2 for NODVD crack, patches etc.


9) Edit media table in Transformers2.msi with Orca like below and copy both folders
or download it.


10) Make iso TRANSFORMERS2_1 with label: TRANSFORMERS2_1
Make iso TRANSFORMERS2 with label: TRANSFORMERS2

TRANSFORMERS2_1: 3.9 GB
TRANSFORMERS2 : 3.8 GB

i can't find when installation want Directx. So Directx is in both folders. But while only in TRANSFORMERS2 installation is done. No problem.
